Gérard Audran (born August 2, 1640 in Lyon , † July 26, 1703 in Paris ) was a French engraver .

Audran trained in Paris, then for three years in Rome . Louis XIV asked him to come back to Paris and thereupon appointed him court engraver. He engraved numerous leaves after Raffael , Titian , Annibale Carracci , Domenichino , Nicolas Poussin , Pierre Mignard , which are characterized by a rare dexterity and painterly effect of the treatment. Audran was an engraver in great historical style and worked on copper plates that were unusually large for his time.

His nephews Benoît Audran and Jean Audran also trained under him to become famous engravers.
