Gérard Saint-Paul

Gérard Saint-Paul (born June 21, 1941 in Pithiviers ) is a French journalist and publicist .

Life

Saint-Paul studied philosophy at Sciences Po Paris (Licencié) and was trained at the Center de formation des journalistes de Paris until 1969. In 1970 he began his journalistic career at Europe 1 and worked for Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française (ORTF). In 1973 he became a correspondent for TF1 . He then went to France 3 and La Cinq, for which he was Germany correspondent from 1987 to 1992. From 1994 to 1998 he was part of the editorial team at RMC . From 2001 to 2005 he was editor-in-chief of arte . He then worked for CF2I and was Program Director of France 24 from 2006 to 2008 .
