Górczyna (Zwierzyn)

Górczyna ( German  Neu Gurkowschbruch ) is a residential area in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to Gmina Zwierzyn (municipality of New Mecklenburg) in the Powiat Strzelecko-Drezdenecki (Friedeberg-Driesener district) .

The living space is in Netzebruch in Neumark , about 65 km east of Küstrin and about 95 km southeast of Stettin .

Neu Gurkowschbruch formed a rural community in the Friedeberg Nm district until 1941 . and with this district belonged to the Prussian province of Brandenburg , from 1938 to the province of Pomerania . In 1925, there were 182 inhabitants in 43 households in Neu Gurkowschbruch. In addition to Neu Gurkowschbruch there was the Molkenhaus residential area in the community . On October 1, 1941, Neu Gurkowschbruch was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Gurkow .

In 1945 Neu Gurkowschbruch, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse line , came to Poland. Neu Gurkowschbruch received the Polish place name "Górczyna".
