The Göblberg is 801  m above sea level. A. the highest elevation of the Hausruck . It is located in a ridge that extends south from the main ridge on the municipal boundary between Frankenburg am Hausruck and Ampflwang in the Hausruckwald .

In April 2006, the Göblberg observation tower was built jointly by the communities of Ampflwang and Frankenburg . The wooden observation tower with 210 steps is 35 m high and offers a panoramic view over the Innviertel to the bordering Bavaria and the Salzkammergut to the main Alpine ridge to the Salzburg mountains.
