Göhren is a district of the municipality of Tramm in the west of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). Until July 1, 2011, the place was an independent municipality with the districts Bahlenhüschen, Göhren and Settin.

Geography and traffic

The place is south of the federal highway 321 on Lake Settiner. The federal motorway 14 (approx. 15 km) can be reached via the Schwerin-Ost junction. Göhren is about five kilometers south of Crivitz and about three kilometers east of Banzkow . The place is on the south bank of the Settiner See , the Stör Canal flows through the local area. In the south of Göhren lies the forest and meadow area of ​​the Lewitz , in the north the forest area Settiner Tannen. The highest elevations are the wooded Crows Mountains at 74  m above sea level. NHN .
