Gülnäfis Ajtmuchambetowa ( Kazakh Гүлнәфиз Айтмұхамбетова ; Russian Гульнафис Айтмухамбетова / Gulnafis Aitmuchambetowa; * 2. February 1988 in Guryev , Kazakh SSR , USSR ) is a Kazakh Taekwondoin that is active in the weight category up to 67 kilograms. Until 2008 she started internationally for Russia .

Aytmukhambetova has been participating in international competitions since 2006. She fought her first major title fights at the 2007 World Cup in Beijing and the 2008 European Championship in Rome , where she was eliminated early. Ajtmuchambetowa has been working for Kazakhstan since 2009 and has celebrated its first international successes. In the class up to 67 kilograms she won the gold medal at the Universiade in Belgrade and reached the quarter-finals at the World Cup in Copenhagen . The following year she won her first international medal with bronze at the Asian Games in Guangzhou . At the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in 2011 in Bangkok , Ajtmuchambetova won the decisive battle for third place and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London .
