Günter Cerbe

Günter Cerbe (born April 15, 1930 ) is a German engineer and university professor.

Life

Cerbe studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen and at the TU Berlin . After completing his studies, he worked for several years in technical apparatus engineering and in the steel industry. He did his doctorate at the TU Clausthal . His activity as a university lecturer began at the Wolfenbüttel Engineering School (today Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences ), where he taught thermodynamics and gas technology . There he became the founding dean of the supply technology department . Cerbe worked as a publicly appointed expert for the gas industry. In the gas industry, his name is primarily associated with the standard work Basics of Gas Technology .
