Omoto learned to play football on the school team at Yachiyo High School . He signed his first contract with Yokohama F. Marinos in 2003 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 201 he moved to the second division Thespa Kusatsu . For the club, he completed 97 league games.
