Günter Ludwig (politician)

Günter Ludwig (born August 28, 1924 in Göttingen ; † June 3, 1974 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Ludwig grew up in Bühle in the Northeim district and attended the Max Planck Gymnasium in Göttingen. In World War II he was a pilot and was wounded twice, most recently he was a company commander in the paratrooper training regiment. After the war, he studied law with subsequent preparatory service in Göttingen, Berlin and in the higher regional court district of Celle. He then worked as a lawyer and notary.

Ludwig had been a member of the Northeim district council and the Nörten-Hardenberg district council since 1956, and chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group and the Nörten-Hardenberg CDU council group since 1958. In the 7th electoral term from June 21, 1970 until his death on June 3, 1974, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.
