Günter Schoknecht

Günter Schoknecht (born March 10, 1930 , † December 29, 2012 in Berlin ) was a German engineer and medical technician. For many years he was a senior employee at the Federal Health Office .

Schoknecht was awarded a Dr.-Ing. In 1957 at the Technical University of Berlin . PhD . He worked for many years at the Federal Health Office, most recently as director and professor , where he a. a. Headed research on procedures for determining breath alcohol in the then Institute for Social Medicine and Epidemiology . He later moved to the Medical Devices Department in what was then the Institute for Drugs of the Federal Health Office and later the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices .

Schoknecht lived with his wife Benita (1929–2013) in Berlin. He was buried in the Zehlendorf cemetery. (Field 001-472)
