Günter Sosna (born March 27, 1926 , † October 6, 2004 ), also called "Schimmel", was a German football player and coach .
Career
Günter Sosna moved from forward lawn sport Gleiwitz in 1945 to VfL Neckarau , where he was promoted to the Oberliga Süd with the club in his first season . After a season in what was then the top division, the left winger moved to league rivals Stuttgarter Kickers . In addition to players like Edmund Conen , Kurt Lauxmann and Siegfried Kronenbitter, he was part of the famous "Hunder Tore Storm", which scored 113 goals this season. Sosna herself contributed 11 goals and scored twice in the 6: 3 win in the decider for 3rd place in the table against FC Bayern Munich .
In 1952 Sosna moved to SSV Reutlingen 05 , but left it again the following year and was active in Switzerland for FC Cantonal Neuchatel and FC Zug for several years .
After his career as a player he returned to Germany and worked as a coach in Geislingen for SC Geislingen and SV Glück Auf Altenstadt.
Personal
Sonsa was a trained mechanic and ran a Toto Lotto sales office in Geislingen in the 1960s .
