Günter Spielmeyer

Günter Spielmeyer (born January 19, 1925 in Cammin , Pomerania ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Spielmeyer finished his legal training in 1954 and from 1955 worked as a research assistant at the Federal Social Court . In March 1958 he was appointed to the government council.

From 1961 he was a Sozialgerichtsrat on Social Court in Oldenburg worked and after previous secondment from 1963 as Landessozialgerichtsrat to the Landessozialgericht Niedersachsen appointed.

In 1966, Spielmeyer took up his position as a judge at the Federal Social Court; in 1979 he was appointed presiding judge and presided over the 12th Senate of the court. In 1991 Spielmeyer retired.

Günther Spielmeyer was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on the occasion of his retirement in 1991 .
