Günther Kaip

Günther Kaip (* 1960 in Linz ) is an Austrian writer .

biography

Günther Kaip was born in Linz and moved to Vienna in 1980; since 1991 he has been a freelance writer . He publishes in anthologies, literary magazines and newspapers, is the author of poetry, short stories, novels, radio plays, children's books, word-picture works and sound objects. Kaip also works for the Austrian broadcasting company ORF and the NDR. For his literary work he has received several awards and grants. In 2007, together with Reinhold Aumaier , he designed an exhibition at the Literaturhaus Wien under the title Kokon . Günther Kaip's texts have already been translated into English, Russian, Polish, Spanish and Turkish. Günther Kaip is a member of the Graz authors' assembly .
