Günther Kleinhanns

Günther Kleinhanns (born January 22, 1943 ) is an Austrian architect , civil servant , local politician ( FPÖ ) and author .

Live and act

Kleinhanns lives in Linz, was state curator in the service of the Austrian Federal Monuments Office and, in addition to his professional activity, wrote numerous regional historical treatises that were published in daily and weekly newspapers as well as in specialist magazines. From 1989 to 1993 he was president of the Mühlviertel artists' guild .

From 1998 to 2009 he was a member of the Linz municipal council for the FPÖ, where he was involved in various committees in particular for the preservation of Linz's old town and for the preservation of monuments. From 2005 to 2009 he was a member of the regional cultural advisory board of the Upper Austrian regional government. Since November 2015 he has been a member of the Linz municipal council again, where he is the parliamentary group chairman of the FPÖ .
