Günther Knesch
Günther Knesch (* 1931 ) is a German architect and Bavarian construction officer .
Knesch received his doctorate in 1984 from the Technical University of Munich as Dr.-Ing. For many years he was the head of the Landshut State Building Authority . During this time he campaigned for building culture and monument preservation . He researched and documented the barn type of the Bundwerkstadels and took care of the renovation and reconstruction of historical sundials.
