GP Black Forest
The Black Forest Grand Prix , from 2005 onwards under the name GP Triberg-Schwarzwald , was an annual international road bike race .
Due to the mountainous profile with a regular altitude of around 4,000 meters, it was considered the most difficult one-day race in Germany. It was part of the UCI Europe Tour in UCI Category 1.1.
The race was held for the first time in 2002. From 2003 it started and ended in the Black Forest community of Triberg .
With the decision of the Triberg City Council on July 8, 2009, the event was discontinued.
The GP Triberg-Schwarzwald was part of the International German Championship (TUI-Cup) racing series in 2009 .
