Ga Anyen Dampa

Ga Anyen Dampa ( Tib. SGA gNyan a dam pa * 1230 ; † 1303 ) or Ga Anyen Dampa Künga Dragpa ( ga gNyan a dam pa kun dga 'grags pa ) was an important minister of the Sakya -Schule of Tibetan Buddhist . He was a student of Sakya Pandita (1182-1251) and Phagpa (1235-1280). He was the brother of the chief Atro Palgye, who ruled over eighteen tribes in the Garje area.

In 1268 he founded the Kelsang monastery ( bskal bzang dgon ), an important monastery of the Sakya school in Thridu ( Chidu , Qinghai ) in eastern Tibet .
