Gabba Nation
Gabba Nation or short [-GN-] is a Berlin DJ team that exists since 1993 and since 1996 also own productions in the genre of the Gabba published. The playback speed of the music is between 130 and 220 BPM .
Between 1993 and 1996 the Gabba Nation was resident DJ in the bunker . She then toured various Berlin clubs and performed at events in Hamburg , Frankfurt am Main , Dresden , Chemnitz and other cities. There the Dutch word "Gabber" was renamed by the Gabba Nation to "Gabba". Since then the Gabba style has established itself as a fixed genre (see "hardcore history")
From 1993 to 1996 the Gabba Nation in the Bunker Berlin was an integral part of the monthly events as a resident DJ crew. Members of the Gabba Nation are among the co-founders of the Fuckparade , which first took place in 1997. Its 10th anniversary was celebrated in 2007. From 2002 to 2003 the [-GN-] Residents was in the safe .
2004 has German Patent and Trademark Office , the brand recognized the Gabba Nation. Since then she has concentrated more on the production of music , but the number of appearances has decreased. In 2014 the brand was renewed after ten years.
Current members are DJ Sascha , Robsen derTöpper . ESCII (alias E 605) and Presslufthamma (Dresden). A previous member was Clars , who died on April 6, 2006. Beagle (Berlin) organized the record productions, the financing was secured quite differently. Glurff (Berlin) produced some tracks, was then also to be found at Mokum and worked as a soloist. The first co-artists were Marco and Zigan, Der Würfler, Doll-X and many more.
DJ Cut-X has been active again since around 2013 and started the "Underground Hardcore Berlin" (UHB) project with Robs and Beagle. Monthly events can be found in Berlin.
