Gabi Reinmann

Gabi Reinmann (born October 21, 1965 ) is a German psychologist and professor for teaching and learning at the University of Hamburg .

Career

Gabi clean man studied at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich psychology . After graduating in 1990 the doctorate in 1993 in psychology, pedagogy and psycholinguistics from her doctoral thesis in clinical psychology and closed. She then worked for Heinz Mandl at the Chair for Empirical Pedagogy and Educational Psychology at the LMU Munich. In 2000 she completed her habilitation on knowledge management and was authorized to teach psychology and empirical pedagogy.

From 2001 to 2010 Reinmann was Professor (C3) for media education at the University of Augsburg . There she co-founded the Institute for Media and Educational Technology (imb) in 2007. From 2010 to 2013 she was Professor (W3) for educational science with a focus on teaching and learning with the media at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich (Faculty of Education) from 2010 to 2012 also Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Education. From 2013 to 2015 she was Vice President for Teaching & Didactics and Professor for University Didactics at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. Since June 2015 she has been professor (W3) for teaching and learning at the University of Hamburg and there director of the Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning .

  • 2001 Prize for good teaching at the state universities in Bavaria from the Minister of State for Education, Culture, Science and Art for the conception, implementation and evaluation of the virtual seminar "Introduction to Knowledge Management"
  • 2004 Ideas and project award for "The Fifth Dimension Project for Germany" in the transatlantic ideas competition USable 2003/04 (in cooperation with Tom Vogt)
  • In 2005 and 2008 top marks in the student assessment in the CHE university ranking for the bachelor's and master's degree in media and communication
  • 2007 Best Paper Award at the annual meeting of the GMW (Society for Media in Science) together with Tom Sporer, Sandra Hofhues & Tobias Jenert
  • 2008 Winner in the Stifterverband competition “Campus Online” of the University of Augsburg for the IT service center concept with imb as a partner
  • 2008 Best Paper Award at the annual meeting of the GMW (Society for Media in Science) together with Sandra Hofhues & Viktoria Wagensommer
  • 2008 and 2009 ranking places for her weblog “e-Denkarium” in the context of further education and science blogs
  • 2009 (a) Audience Award at Medidaprix 2009 and (b) D-ELINA Innovation Award for the accompanying course developed at the Professorship for Media Education (University of Augsburg)
  • 2011 European Award for Technology Supported Learning (eureleA) “Best Project Effect” for the project “edubreak-SportCampus: Web 2.0 supported teaching-learning portal for trainer training and further education in organized sport” with the professorship for teaching and learning with media as a scientific partner
