Gabor Csontos (born July 4, 1966 in Budapest ) is a former German volleyball player of Hungarian descent and volleyball player of the year 1987.

Gabor Csontos joined the Bavarian club SV Schwaig in 1979 when he was thirteen . In 1983 he moved to Bundesliga club VBC Paderborn and was German runner-up here in 1984. Then he went back to Bavaria and played in succession for the Bundesliga clubs TSV 1860 Munich , TSV Ottobrunn and Türk Gücü Munich . The player Gabor Csontos was voted volleyball player of the year in 1987 . In 1988 he moved to Moerser SC , with whom he won the European CEV Cup in 1990 . In 1994 Gabor Csontos helped out again with the second division club TuS Kriftel .

Gabor Csontos has been a German national player 45 times .
