Gabriel Badea-Păun (born January 20, 1973 in Sinaia ) is a Romanian art historian . He lives in Paris .

Life

Gabriel Badea-Păun studied history at the University of Bucharest and received his doctorate in art history from the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne) with a dissertation on Antonio de la Gandara . He has published numerous articles in art history journals in France and Romania and several specialist books in France, England and Romania, including Portraits de Société (Paris, Citadelles et Mazenod 2007) and Le style Second Empire. Architecture, décors et art de vivre Paris (Paris, Citadelles et Mazenod 2010) and a collection of poems by Carmen Sylva (Elisabeth zu Wied), Queen of Romania, in 1998 .

He has received several prizes and awards for his publications.
