Gabriel Christian Carl Hermann Schroeder (born April 26, 1823 in Lübeck ; † October 26, 1883 there ) was a German businessman and senator of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Schroeder was the son of the Lübeck lawyer, businessman and historian Hermann Schröder . Together with Peter Hinrich Rodde, he founded the trading house Rodde, Schröder & Co in Lübeck in 1851 . From 1859 to 1865 he was Vice Consul of the United States in Lübeck. In 1863 he became a member of the citizenship and in 1864 President of the Chamber of Commerce , which formed the executive board of the Lübeck merchants' association . In 1865 he was elected Senator of the Hanseatic City. In the Senate he was a member of the Commission for Trade and Shipping, from 1866 also the Commission for Foreign Affairs. From 1881 Schroeder was also president of the tax department. He also worked in the finance department, the city and rural authorities, the building deputation and the poor institution.
