Gabriel Grapperon
Gabriel Grapperon (* 1993 in Pau , Nouvelle-Aquitaine ) is a French film director and screenwriter .
Career
Grapperon was born in Pau in 1993 and attended MoPA, a college for animation in France. His first involvement in a short film was released under the title Locked Up in 2014, for which he wrote the script. The film Garden Party was made with his fellow students and released in 2016 at the Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand . For his participation, he and Victor Caire received a nomination in the category “ Best Animated Short Film ” at the 2018 Academy Awards . However, the Academy Awards went to Glen Keane and Kobe Bryant for their short film Dear Basketball , which shows Bryant's childhood dreams through to his 20-year career.
