Gabriel-Marie-Joseph Matagrin
Gabriel-Marie-Joseph Matagrin (born January 19, 1919 in Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset , † February 2, 2004 ) was Bishop of Grenoble .
Life
Gabriel-Marie-Joseph Matagrin was ordained a priest on March 17, 1945 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on November 15, 1964 auxiliary bishop in Lyon and titular bishop of Floriana . The Archbishop of Lyon, Jean-Marie Villot , ordained him episcopal on January 10 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Michel-Louis Vial , Bishop of Nevers , and Marius-Félix-Antoine Maziers , Auxiliary Bishop in Lyon.
He attended the fourth session of the Second Vatican Council . The Pope appointed him Bishop of Grenoble on September 19, 1969 . He resigned from his office on September 26, 1989.
