Gabriela Koschatzky-Elias

Gabriela Koschatzky-Elias (born October 3, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author , museum curator and cultural journalist.

Life

Gabriela Koschatzky-Elias studied theater and film studies , Byzantine , Neo-Greek and law at the University of Vienna . She received her doctorate in 1987. She works as a translator and cultural journalist. In addition, she is the curator of the Egon Schiele Museum Tulln and a member of the board of the Erwin Ringel Institute Foundation .

She is a member of the jury at the Walter Koschatzky Art Prize, an important young artist prize in Austria.

She was married to the art historian Walter Koschatzky (1921–2003).
