Gabriele Bublies-Leifert (* 1967 in Hemer ) is a German dog breeder and politician ( AfD ).

Gabriele Bublies-Leifert runs a dog breed of Australian Shepherds in Sien , where she lives with her partner.

Bublies-Leifert has been a member of Alternative für Deutschland since 2013 and was chairwoman of the Birkenfeld district association from November 2014 . In May 2014 she was elected to the district council.

In the state elections in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2016 , she was a candidate in constituency 19 (Birkenfeld) and moved into the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate via number 10 on the AfD state list . She was a full member of the Committee on Gender Equality and the Advancement of Women and an alternate member of the Committee on Health, Care and Demography. She is currently a deputy member of the data protection commission and a member of the committee for the environment, energy, nutrition and forestry.

In August 2016, her parliamentary immunity was lifted and the Koblenz public prosecutor opened an investigation against her on suspicion of tax evasion . In December 2018, the proceedings were concluded with the delivery of a penalty order issued by the Mainz District Court .

On August 7, 2019, she left the parliamentary group after losing a voting vote with the AfD franchise chairman Uwe Junge , whom she accused of lacking demarcation against right-wing tendencies in the party and parliamentary group .

Bublies-Leifert applied unsuccessfully for a seat on the state executive at the AfD state party conference in November 2019 . In her application speech she reported treason and intrigue within the party; she and her party colleague Jens Ahnemüller, who was excluded from the parliamentary group in 2018, were also bullied. Bublies-Leifert called the appeal against the personality cult around the wing spokesman Björn Höcke , signed by more than 100 AfD mandate holders and officials, as a “list of shame”.
