Firozpur (also Ferozepur , Panjabi ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ; Hindi फिरोजपुर ) is a city ( Municipal Council ) in the Indian state of Punjab .
The city is located in the lowlands 7 km from the Pakistani border and the course of the Satluj River. Firozpur is the administrative seat of the district of the same name . The city had 110,313 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The national road NH 95 leads from Moga, 55 km to the east, to Firozpur.
