Gabriele Triebel

Gabriele Triebel (born October 24, 1960 in Kaufering ) is a German teacher and politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . She has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since November 2018 .

Life

Triebel graduated from high school in Landsberg am Lech and studied education and sports in Munich. Until she moved into the Bavarian State Parliament, she worked as a qualified sports teacher in Bavaria.

As a long-distance runner, Triebel was German runner-up over 3000 meters in indoor running in 1990.

politics

Triebel has been a local councilor in Kaufering since 2002 . Since 2014 she has also been the second mayor and district councilor. In the Bavarian state elections in 2018 , she ran as a direct candidate in the district of Landsberg am Lech, Fürstenfeldbruck-West and on list number 9 of the Greens in Upper Bavaria . With a total of 25,853 votes, it entered the state parliament via the Upper Bavarian list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

Triebel is a member of the committee for education and culture in the Bavarian state parliament and spokeswoman for education, religion and culture of remembrance of the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . She is also the deputy chairwoman of the prison advisory board at Landsberg prison .
