Gabriele Trull

Gabriele Trull (* 1947 in Göttingen ) is a former teacher and federal chairwoman of the Evangelical Hospital Aid Working Group.

Life

Trull grew up in Hamburg. She completed her secondary school teacher studies with a focus on mathematics and physics in Berlin and Göttingen. She worked for a short time as a secondary school teacher in Stadtoldendorf, but gave up school work after marrying a soldier and the birth of her two daughters. Due to her husband's work, numerous moves and two stays abroad in Rome and Pakistan followed. To help herself and to share experiences, she founded the “Forum for Soldiers' Wives”.

Since 1979 she has been involved in the Evangelical Hospital Help (EKH) on a voluntary basis and worked as a Green Lady in hospitals in Sankt Augustin, Lüneburg and Rendsburg. In 1996 she took over the federal chairmanship of the Evangelical Hospital Aid Working Group as the successor to the founder Brigitte Schröder . Trull was a member of numerous federal and state committees, of the Diaconal Conference of the Evangelical Church in Germany , of the Administrative Council and Presidium of the Diakonie , of the board of nationwide senior citizens' associations and deputy chair of the Diaconal Council of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland . In 2013 she left the EKH as federal chairwoman and is now honorary chairwoman and member of the extended board.

Trull is married to an officer, has two daughters and a grandmother of seven.
