Ludwig Valenta (born August 30, 1882 in Vienna , † 1943 in Rio de Janeiro ) was an Austrian genre painter .

Valenta studied painting at the art academy in Vienna. He showed his works at an exhibition in Vienna in 1933. After Austria was annexed in 1938, he emigrated to Brazil in 1939 , where he settled in Rio de Janeiro.

Valenta's painting was in the traditional Biedermeier style for life.
