Gabriele Zuna-Kratky

Gabriele Zuna-Kratky (born September 8, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian museum director.

Life

Zuna-Kratky was initially a teacher at the polytechnic course in Vienna. After her doctorate in philosophy at the University of Vienna , she moved to the administrative service of the Austrian Ministry of Education and worked in the field of school television and media education.

In 1997 she became director of the Austrian Phonotheque . From 2000 she was director of the Technisches Museum Wien . In June 2019, Minister of Culture Alexander Schallenberg appointed Peter Aufreiter as her successor on January 1, 2020.

Zuna-Kratky was President of EcoAustria until October 2016 , and Josef Moser succeeded her in this role .
