Gachibowli

Gachibowli is a suburb of the Indian city of Hyderabad (India) and has become an important IT center in recent years .

Educational institutions

Gachibowli is home to the Indian School of Business, the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), the University of Hyderabad and the Maulana Azad National Urdu University , both of which were founded as Central Universities .

Sports

There is also a large sports center here, which includes the Gachibowli Stadium (athletics, football), a hockey stadium, a multifunctional arena and a swimming center. The 2007 military world games and the small Asian football championship, the AFC Challenge Cup 2008 , were held here.

traffic

So far, the district has mainly only been served by bus lines, but the HITEC-City station of the MMTS- Stadtbahn is two kilometers north . Gachibowli is also to be taken into account by the Metro Rail, which is soon under construction .

Hyderabad's international airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport , is around 25 km south and can be reached in 45–90 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
