Gad Shimron

Gad Schimron ( Hebrew גד שימרון; born 1950 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli journalist and author.
Live and act
Schimron studied history and Asian studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . In the 1970s and 1980s, Schimron was a member of various operational units of the Mossad for 10 years .
In the 1990s, Shimron worked as European correspondent for the Israeli daily Ma'ariv worked, worked as a journalist in the newsroom of Kol Israel ( "Voice of Israel"), the public radio institution of Israel , and presented the morning show on Israeli TV stations Haarutz Ha -Rishon ("Channel 1") . He worked for Ma'ariv until his dismissal in 2008.
In addition, Schimron published seven books, some of them fictional, on intelligence , security and the history of the Crusades in Hebrew, English, French and German.
