Gaidar forum
The Gaidar Forum is one of the largest events in Russia in the field of business. The event is named after Yegor Gaidar . It has been held in Moscow every year since 2010. The venue is the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation .
The event consists of plenary sessions, round tables and panel discussions. The moderators of the forum are representatives of the Russian government, regional authorities, domestic and foreign business leaders, for example

The first conference on "Russia and the World: Challenges of the New Decade" took place on January 21-23. The second conference took place on March 16-19. The event dealt with the topic «Russia and the world: The search for an innovation strategy». The following areas in particular were discussed: the problem of the institutional foundations of the innovation economy, new requirements for political institutions and the associated financial policy, social challenges for modernization, regional models of innovation development and the search for the core of innovation growth. The third event took place on January 18-21, the theme was “Russia and the World: 2012–2020”. The fifth event took place on January 15-18. The theme was "Russia and the World: Sustainable Development". 2015
From January 14th to 16th, the event was titled "Russia and the World: A New Vector." The main topic was the macroeconomic problems and the main economic development trends of the modern world. The most important questions were in particular the current problems of demography and migration for all countries, financial policy and the prospects for the development of China as an important world-class player. The real sector of the Russian economy and problems of its development were discussed. One of the most recent discussions was the discussion of the prospects of the Russian economy in the face of sanctions and falling oil prices, in particular, the discussion of problems in the oil and gas sector, the integration of agriculture into the food chains, the Eurasian economic partnership and the search for new concepts of recruitment Investment and monetary policy management. In 2015, 5,703 people attended the event. The number of participants increased by 20% in 2015 compared to 2014, and in 2014 there were 4,765 guests.
2016
The theme in 2016 was "Russia and the World: Future Outlook". The event took place from January 13th to 15th. Over 13,700 guests, 817 of whom were foreigners, attended the event (19% more than in the previous year). As of January 18, over 10,000 articles were published in the media. The Rector of the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Service to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Mau , handed him a diploma as honorary professor of the Academy of State and Law. The award of the diploma took place within the framework of the panel discussion "The role of parliamentarism in the economy", moderated by the head of the Russian presidential administration, Sergei Naryshkin.
