Gaius Aquilius

Gaius Aquilius (Tuscus?) (* Around 520 BC; † after 487 BC) was a Roman politician in the 5th century BC. Chr.

Aquilius came from a patrician family . His cognomen Tuscus is only documented in the chronograph of 354 ; possibly it was also Sabinus . In 487 B.C.E. Together with Titus Siccius Sabinus the consulate and led an army against the hernians during his time in office . The Senate granted him an ovatio for his victorious fight .
