Jan-Marc Riegler (born April 18, 1988 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian football player . From 2010 to 2014 he played for SV Ried . He has been without a club since July 2014.

Career

Riegler started in AKA OÖ West and joined the squad of the Bundesliga club SV Ried in 2006 . A year later he made his debut in the top Austrian division. In 2006 Riegler was allowed to play in the UEFA Cup for a short time . After the end of the 2006/07 season, Riegler decided on loan to switch to FC Red Bull Salzburg Juniors, who had been promoted to the first division , in order to gain match practice there. Since he was able to convince, he was signed by Red Bull Salzburg. In the summer of 2010 he returned to Ried . Internationally, the defender played at the U-19 European Football Championship in 2007 , but where he was eliminated with Austria in the preliminary round. He then played a total of seven games for the U20 team in his country.

At the end of the 2010/11 season he won the Austrian Cup with SV Ried.

Since December 2013 Riegler has been out of action due to a pubic bone inflammation and has been without a club since June 2014.
