Gaius Bruttius Praesens (Consul 246)
Gaius Bruttius Praesens was a Roman politician and senator .
Bruttius was a member of the patrician gens Bruttia from Lucania . He was probably the son of Gaius Bruttius Praesens , who was consul in 217 . Grossia Crispina , who was married to Emperor Commodus , was probably his great-aunt. In 246 Bruttius became a full consul. His further civil service career is unknown.
