The Derbeke ( Russian Дербеке , also Derbeki ( Дэрбэки )) is a 389 km long left tributary of the Adytscha in the river system of the Jana in Siberia ( Russia , Asia ).

The river arises on the eastern flank of the over 1,600 m high Chunchadin ridge (Хунхадинский хребет) in the southeastern part of the Verkhoyansk Mountains . In a northerly or northeastern direction, the river crosses slowly and strongly meandering flowing (0.4 m / s) a wide swampy depression, before it takes on the character of a mountain river with rapids and steep banks again in the lower reaches and finally at a height of almost 400 m the Adytscha flows. Near the mouth, the Derbeke is about 50 m wide and 1.5 m deep; the flow velocity here is 2.3 m / s.

The Derbeke catchment area covers 14,100 km 2 . It lies entirely on the territory of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) .

In winter the Derbeke can freeze to the bottom in sections.
