The gallery grave Paderborn-Dahl was a megalithic grave complex from the Neolithic near Dahl , a district of Paderborn ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It was destroyed around 1937.

location

The grave was north of Dahl on an old directional path to Neuenbeken in a field diagonally across from the Hengkrug.

Research history

The destruction of the grave was reported in 1937, when the complex was still a shallow hollow. A field inspection at its location in 1977 yielded no results.

description

In the local file entry, it is only noted that the system was built from erratic blocks. The address as a gallery grave results only from the fact that this is the only type of megalithic grave that is documented from the wider area around the site. No information is available about the dimensions and orientation of the grave.
