Galle is a small impact crater in Mare Frigoris , north-northeast of the prominent Aristotle crater .
The circular crater has a sharp edge and shows hardly any traces of erosion . The rim of the crater has slight bulges in the north and northeast, but is otherwise quite symmetrical.
