Galyn Susman

Galyn Susman (born September 21, 1964 in Park Forest , Illinois ) is an American film producer and animator .

Life

Galyn Susman grew up in a small suburb of Chicago . She currently lives in the Californian city of Piedmont with her husband Dan Levin and their 3 children . In 1986 she graduated from Brown University in Rhode Island . At first she majored in physics , but realized that it was the wrong subject. As a result, she changed her degree to computer science and computer graphics . She produced her first short film at Apple while working in the research and development department. In 1990 she was employed by Pixar Animation Studios and initially worked with Andrew Stanton as a co-director on two commercials for the Kellogg’s company .
