Game Boy Camera
The Game Boy Camera (in Japan Pocket Camera ) is a peripheral device for the Game Boy released in 1998 . It is one of Nintendo developed, black and white digital camera that the plug-in module is plugged bay of the Game Boy. In connection with the Game Boy Printer , which appeared at the same time, it is possible to take photos with the Game Boy and print them out directly. The Game Boy Camera has been released in four colors (blue, yellow, green and red) in Japan, the USA and Europe .
With the help of a cable connected to the link connection, the saved images can be read out and transferred to a PC. An emulator is required for this.
In addition to the camera function, various mini-games were integrated into the module, for example a classic shoot 'em up . You could add your own pictures to the mini-games.
At the time of its appearance, the Game Boy Camera was the smallest and cheapest digital camera in the world.
