Passage grave of Vindeby

The passage grave of Vindeby consists of the free-standing remains of a northwest-southeast oriented passage grave , east of Vindeby , near Lindelse on the Danish island of Lolland . It dates from the Neolithic Age around 3500 to 2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). The place Vindeby is also in Lolland and Svendborg Municipality, as well as in the vicinity of Schleswig .

The inside of the chamber is about 2 m wide, while the outside width is just under 4.0 m. Four large bearing stones have been preserved. Two on each side carry a large capstone on which five bowls are set.
