Lindelse is a Danish town with 307 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) on Langeland . The village is located in the parish of the same name ( Lindelse Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to Harde Langelands Sønder Herred in what was then Svendborg . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the municipality of Südlangeland in the newly founded Amt Fyn , the municipality in turn merged with other municipalities in the municipality of Langeland , which belongs to the region of Syddanmark , with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Lindelse is about three kilometers north of Humble and about eleven south of Rudkøbing .

• The island of Lindø is located in "Lindelse Nor", a shallow bay. On the second largest of the five islands in the north, one of the richest Danish settlements from the early Stone Age was examined.
• South of the north, about one kilometer as the crow flies from Lindø, between the farm Bogøgård and the hill "Store Vejlebjerg", lies the dolmen at Bogøgård .
