Lohals is a small port town with 446 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) on the west coast near the northern tip of the Danish island of Langeland opposite the city of Lundeborg on the island of Funen . The place belongs to the Langeland municipality in the region of Syddanmark . Before the Danish administrative reform on January 1, 2007 , it belonged to Tranekær Municipality in Fyns Amt .

Lohals has a fishing and a marina as well as a safari - Museum with memorabilia to the Danish adventurer Tom Knudsen , who was born in Lohals.
