Snøde is a Danish town with 288 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) on Langeland . The village is located in the parish of the same name ( Snøde Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to the Harde Langelands Nørre Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the municipality of Tranekær in the newly established office of Funen , the municipality in turn merged with other municipalities in the municipality of Langeland , which belongs to the Syddanmark region , with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Snøde is about five kilometers south of Lohals and about 25 kilometers north of Rudkøbing .
