Hanna Walentyniwna Haponowa ( Ukrainian Ганна Валентинівна Гапонова , internationally used transcription Ganna Gaponova ; born October 28, 1985 , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian table tennis player . She is a defender and uses the Butterfly Joo Se-hyuk as a blade , while on the backhand she uses long pimples like the Feint Long II. On the forehand, she relies on a tackiness chop.

Career

At the 2015 World Championships , Haponowa was among the 32 best female athletes in the world.

There she was defeated by the Chinese Wu Yang . At the 2017 World Cup she was defeated by the Chinese Mu Zi . There she was eliminated directly and without much resistance in the first round.

She also took part in the Polish Open in the U21 competition in 2017. There she defeated the French national player Stephanie Loeuillette and was eliminated in the second round against the Taiwanese table tennis player Chen Szu-yu .

At the Hungarian Open 2018 Haponowa was among the best 32. There she failed again against Chen Szu-Yu. Previously, she defeated the German national player Petrissa Solja , Pauline Chasse, and Fillipa Bergan, among others . She also took part in doubles. There she lost with her partner Ievgeniia Vasylieva against the top duo Sofia Polcanova and Zhang Mo.

She is currently 65th in the ITTF world rankings and is the second best Ukrainian after Tetjana Bilenko .
