The airfield Barßel is a special airfield near the municipality of Barssel in Lower Saxony . It is operated by the Airfield Barssel Projektmanagement UG and is mainly used for aviation. The field has a 770 meter long and 30 meter wide grass runway and is approved for ultralight aircraft , powered gliders and powered aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to two tons and for helicopters with a maximum take-off weight of up to three tons.
