The Hameln-Pyrmont airfield is a special airfield near the Kleinenberg district of the spa town of Bad Pyrmont and the state road 426.
Flight operations
The airfield is approved for aircraft up to 2000 kg and helicopters up to 6000 kg. Scheduled and charter flights are currently not taking place.
The aviation community Bad Pyrmont- Lügde based here operates two single-engine powered aircraft, a two-seat powered glider and five gliders . The club also owns two microlight aircraft . Training for the respective licenses is carried out on these aircraft.
history
The area was rebuilt in 1966 and initially used exclusively for gliding. It was only later that powered flights were added. In addition to a tower for monitoring aircraft movements, there is a building with an airport restaurant and training rooms, as well as three hangars for aircraft. There is also an aeronautical company .
