Ganse is a village in Wendland in Lower Saxony and is part of the city of Wustrow (Wendland) .

The place is three kilometers northwest of Wustrow and is a round .

history

The place name is derived from the Slavic term whole (= goose). Ganse was first mentioned in a document in 1343. For 1848 it is stated that Ganse had 21 residential buildings in which 151 people lived. At that time the place was parish after Satemin , where the school was located.

On December 1, 1910, Ganse in the Lüchow district had 92 inhabitants.
